TC 225: Flowerful Wisdom

In this episode Robin Masiewicz welcomes her sister Amy Frost as a special co-host. Amy and her friend Kymn will be discussing Robin’s work in intuitive flower reading, something she calls “Flowerful Wisdom”.

Flowerful Wisdom views flowers not just as pretty objects or decoration, but as living things that symbolize different thoughts and ideas. The beauty resulting from leaves and blossoms, different color combinations, natural shapes, and graceful lines provide a meaning in the total form of the arrangement. Robin can interpret or “read” the resulting combination; she understands their language and what they communicate. She then shares her interpretation with her clients to provide a personalized message.

The rose is an example of spiral energy and is associated with the heart chakra. In Western culture the red rose is a symbol of beauty, perfection, and romantic love, and often appears in renaissance art as a symbol of rebirth and renewal. In Christian lore, a rose bush was said to have grown at the site of Christ’s death. His blood serving is often associated with a red rose , and combined with its thorns symbolizes the ultimate sacrifice.

Flowerful Wisdom sessions may be arranged for individuals or groups. Robin has conducted sessions to enhance team-building for organizations, to counsel people as they go through life changes, and as celebrations for birthdays and other events.

Robin has over 30 years experience as owner and floral designer at Flowers for You in Riverside, California. She has studied Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower design, and Feng Shui, the Chinese system for spatial arrangement to enhance energy flow, and integrated these arts and her spiritual work to create something truly unique.
